BUSMASTER CRASH WITH PCAN-USB #527

I'm looking for solutions to simulate and monitor CAN-BUS in order to test my prototype that uses the CAN protocol.

Here the situation:

I installed the software (v1.8.0), and the last version drivers for PCAN. Then i chosed PEAK-CAN USB as hardware to connect the device(peak-usb). At this moment i don't have any error message in the trace windows

Channel configuration for Peak USB: 500Kbps, no filter selected.

When i plug my prototype into the PCAN device to send a standard frame to the software this last crashes and is closed by the OS (win7 64-bits) and i don't understand why.

I just followed the user guide There is a configuration to do before receive or send CAN messages? Or the user may just plug the device, select his hardware in the hardware menu and connect it?

Please could you help me to solve this problem?

Please verify the issue with latest BUSMASTER installer v1.8.1 available at:
