Basic Tests
[x] negative test: mode SSR can be unacceptably large
[x] negative test: mode overlaps can be unacceptably large
[ ] mode SSRs scale like $N^{-4}$
[x] dimensionless frequency $\bar{\omega}^2$, frequency $f$, and period $T$ are correctly related
[ ] frequencies correctly scale with mode order $k$
[ ] frequencies correctly scale with $M$, $R$
[ ] frequency correctly relates to Lamb and BV frequencies
[x] mode order and mode numbers are correctly related
Cowling Mode Tests
[x] on some star, the 2x2 Cowling mode coefficient matrix equals 4x4 nonradial mode coefficient submatrix
[x] on the DummyStar, both Cowling and nonradial mode have same frequency, $\sqrt{L}$.
Nonradial Mode Tests
[x] for uniform star, mode frequencies correspond to Pekeris formula
