If I highlight some text, and then paste that into another via 3rd mouse button. That works fine. However the data is not added to the history. It seems to only add when I use a right click copy and/or ctrl-c. Not sure if this is handled better in elm_cnp or not.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves in E, not so much with clipboard. But I frequently highlight some text for copy/paste purposes. Then close that app, just to lose the copy data. Super frustrating and part of the reason I am running clipboard.
I will see about investigating and playing with a fix time permitting. Do not feel pressed to fix this issue. Not sure if this is related to the GTK issue, but it might. If we solve this within E/EFL apps, I think it may help or fix the issue for GTK as well.
Closing as I will look to address in my forked version. Rather than burden others with fixing this problem. This still exists with elm_cnp, and is likely a larger EFL/E issue than anything clipboard code specific.
