What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Intel
or PPC computer?
iBook PPC-G4 933Mhz OS X 10.4.8

Add a way to stop and restart (pause) a task without add a line in the
right window.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I will consider adding this in a future release.

If anyone has thoughts about the best user interface for this feature, please
post
your comments here. For instance, should there be a new pause button, or can
this
functionality be added to some existing buttons? How would it interact with
the menu
bar icon?

An example scenario showing the usefulness of this feature and its advantages
over
simply using the current start/stop features would also be helpful.

It could be confusing to have the difference between the start and stop time be
greater than the time spent. I
think if you did this you'd want some sort of visual indication that there were
pauses in that period and some
way of display the worked time segments. Then again, if you didn't like the
way paused items worked, you could
always avoid the feature and just use start/stop as we do now.

I think the current functionality is ok.
