choice of arbitrary section plane cutting the generated volume and objects #9

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

The idea is that the user would be given a choice of generating two or
three series of images through the same volume and same objects. The series
would be produced in two or three perpendicular cutting planes (XY, YZ,
XZ). The advantage of the feature would be that one could demonstrate how
differently the same ellipsoids can look like on 2D sections when cut with
a different orientation of the cutting plane.

I have misunderstood the subject and thought that you want a cutting plane with
any
normal, but you need just the planes aligned with the box coordinate system -
this is
no problem.

This works already, see Issue 3.

OK, the XY, XZ, and YZ planes work fine, thank you.
