You can try the "Use alternate monitor" option in the preferences. Then you can select sensitivity.
Thank you. the "Use alternate monitor" is doing exactly what I wanted.

I'm not entirely sure how that is relevant to this particular problem, since it seems to have been fixed by changing a setting. Having said that: Version 1.11 is in the final stages of testing before being released. It is already very good. I'm using it daily. You can help testing by installing the latest release candidate.

Describe the bug The mouse (contour perfit mouse optical NS model PMO5-L-L) can be left sitting on the desk (not touching it at all, mouse pointer not moving on the screen). Workrave will still sometimes detect it as moving and will count down the break timers or when a break is due will not take the break because it thinks the mouse is moving (with the annoying Buzzer sound happening). Only picking up the mouse and flipping it upside down will make workrave think the mouse is not moving.
*To Reproduce**
Expected behavior When the mouse is not being touched or the keyboard is not being touched, workrave should register it as the user is not operating the computer and allow breaks and not increase the timer.
