LMM GLMM #3

Hi All,

As I'm sure you're aware, linear mixed models and generalised linear mixed models are becoming increasingly widely used in psychology and in other sciences. I'm sure it would be useful to many, if it were possible for you to integrate these procedures with your module. I also wonder if it would be possible for you to port your work to JASP; a piece of statistical software being developed by The Psychological Methods Group at The University of Amsterdam?

Thanks for the comments. I'm working on making esci work in JASP.

Is there an existing R package you're frequently using for lmm or glmms? And/or some example types of designs you'd like to estimate? Have you investigated other jamovi modules--I feel like there might be some that already provide this?

Hi,

I didn't make myself clear, perhaps and I'm sorry. Yes there are ways to perform GLMMs & LMMs in Jamovi and implementation is coming in the next version of JASP. And of course in R there's lme4. I meant, how do we include these models within the estimation/new statistics framework? Is this something that you would/could cover within your module?
