Open Sans 400 is showing as condensed light in Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to any site that uses Open Sans Normal 400 in Chrome Windows
2. It appears condensed 
3. Even on the google font site

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should appear normal width

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 37.0.2062.120 m Windows 8.1

Please provide any additional information below.
It appears normal in IE and firefox

Does uninstalling the fonts resolve the issue?

I don't know, but that's hardly a solution – I don't want to risk having 
users experiencing the same issue. As mentioned on the original post, it only 
happens with Chrome.
