The correct url is: https://github.com/rcbops/rpc-openstack/commit/a1ca1af84bf50b9f70c04fc670f62c80559336a5 which without github auto translation is: https://github.com/rcbops/rpc-openstack/commit/a1ca1af84bf50b9f70c04fc670f62c80559336a5

Decided this is not a bug, the solution is to not supply a url that ends in .git 👍
