It would be good to suggest scontrol show config for users to see default values. Or at least somewhere on the sbatch/submitting jobs page, provide standard default values (e.g., DefMemPerCPU = 3810), as I just had a user whose jobs were failing due to a silent memory error because they didn't explicitly set a memory value.
