Double spacing Option #7

The UGA dissertation guidelines requires that the document be double spaced. On the UGA website it has that there is an option to change it to 1.5 or 2, "Automatically generates your table of contents, formats front matter, and no need to edit page numbers or margins. Simply select 12 point type and 1 1/2 or 2-line spacing and precede your thesis with a properly formatted set of UGA-standard abstract, title, copyright, and approval pages." -- https://grad.uga.edu/index.php/current-students/policies-procedures/theses-dissertations-guidelines/selecting-software/

But I'm not seeing an option. The only work around I've found is adding package 'setspace', and then using \doublespacing before each of the individual chapters. Is this what is suggested? Or is there a feature in the main dissertation.tex that can be added to apply this?
