Had a quick discussion about building the Global RChain Community presence with @edeykholt and he suggested translating the RChain Vision video found on the RChain Coop website. I think that would be a great idea and we should set a budget for this and other future translations.

@sportshark Would you like to engage members of the Chinese community to provide an accurate translation of the video into Chinese? This would fit well into the RChain Members Chinese site that you had created.

@patrick727 Do you happen to have the transcript for the RChain Vision video that you worked on previously? That would make for a more accurate translation.

Nice suggestion made by @edeykholt, translating the Rchain Vision Video would go a very long way in globalizing the RCHAIN community presence indeed, because one major barriers to the upshoot, growth and solidification of any cooperative organization e.g Rchain is THE INABILITY TO COMMUNICATE anywhere, anytime and to anyone, at anytime. And to do that transcription of specific strategic languages (and worldwide languages if attainable) are required for an effective attraction and presence generation into the Rchain community. There is this keen interest, and attention one gets, to be part of, or pay attention to someone, or something, if the presentation is done in its Language. So I strongly agree with this idea @edeykholt and @mervyn853, it would go a very long way in taking Rchain's community presence to a pedestal of great height. @mervyn853 please may I ask, what languages is the transcription of the Rchain Vision Video opened to please?

Nathan W's group at Macroscape worked on the video, I pinged them about the transcript.

Open to all languages, i can give a list of the languages that are most engaging with the website but don't let that limit any others.

Unfortunately, I'm not a native fluent speaker @iamnathanwindsor since I mainly converse in English. I believe @sportshark might be able to find one from the chinese community once I've got the transcript translated.

Point me to the record of the decision? I don't recall whether it was binding.

Regardless, if the goal is achieved and noone plans to do more work, an issue should be closed.

@Mervyn853 Okay, so what I made out of this is that it would be better if you created a blog article about this video, highlighting the important content, BUT it's up to you, you can still do the subtitle translation but the budget should be smaller, as a number of us find those less valuable.

There is no reason for this issue to be open since it has been finished and payed on January.
