Translation of the RChain Medium blog posts to other languages means good global marketing.

Translated contents will be posted both on the RChain Worldwide Community Forum > French (Français) > Blog, and Medium Blog.

Other thoughts:

The metrics to this completion should be the number of views/likes/etc not simply completing the translation. We need to make sure that the right audience is reading these, because if no one reads these then there is no purpose to translation.

Please also provide the word count for each debrief.

@casanwugo, @ICA3DaR5 is no longer a translation guide, this is the reason I'm asking for this information. Please answer my other questions above with the exception to the one I directed to @ICA3DaR5

@AyAyRon-P I do support the idea that translation requires an audience to be of any practical value (which I believe @casanwugo has shown over time, I may be wrong).

I also think it is necessary to have important articles such as the weekly debriefs, rnode/rholang updates in other widely spoken languages like French, Chinese etc and finally I DO NOT support the idea that metrics such as likes, views should be introduced not just to translation but even general marketing, this almost always leads to spamming which is counterproductive for RChain.

The credibility of @casanwugo was not brought into question. I did ask what other audience would value this translation - are there other forums, blog sites, community sites that would be interested. I believe this is a fair question that if you know the answer please feel free to provide the links.

Let me play devil's advocate here, if only one person reads all 11 articles, is there any value in that to RChain? We have used "likes/views" in the past as a component to the completion metric, not the only one, because like you said it may lead to spamming and that helps no one. What I am advocating in addition to straight forward translation, are taking into consideration aspects of the issue for instance the number of likes/views, but more importantly what value has been added to the translation by the translator.

@AyAyRon-P... Translations will be posted on my Medium Blog which has a constantly growing following with the French audience in between. Also when the French section is created on the RChain Community Forum, i will have the contents posted there as well.

I believe that these Translations are beneficial to the RChain coop, in that, they are archived for readers to access both now and in the future, anytime, anyday. This in its own sense is value added on Translation.

@casanwugo How did you come up with the budget? The tool is giving a quote of $2,481.00.

@pavlos 1851... I only estimated. Didnt make use of the tool initially. But now that you've pointed it out,,, i'll have it corrected immediately. Thank you.
