Can be done in multiple ways.

Easy

Center visible nodes and scale to fit within the window.

Challenging

Automatically collapse certain nodes when shrinking window (perhaps a user setting)
Remember these nodes so that they expand again when the window is expanded

This issue can probably be generalized to auto-formatting (e.g. nice formatting for objects functions, options to show them inline or collapse them, etc.)
