Basic Things to Do #1

[ ] customize appearance for distinct visual look.
[x] modify about crediting the original gallery.
[ ] figure out mechanisms to add to gallery (submit function, google form etc.)
[ ] reorganize gallery metadata.
[ ] build in mechanism to credit original creator of the d3js visual replicated.

Google Forms

It is easy to link a google form to a spreadsheet. So, I can create a google form that can be filled out to submit an example to the gallery. The submit function can launch a pre-populated url with some fields filled in, so that it is easy for users to fill out the rest of the form.

Hello,

Thank you for you package rcharts but when i tried to install it, i have the following error message: Error: http client error (403) I follow your steps with the lines command :require(devtools) install_github('rCharts', 'ramnathv')

Are you able to install any package at all using install_github. It seems like an issue with some settings on your system, since HTTP 403 error has occured. Try installing a different package from github using devtools and tell me what happens.

Hello, I try to install rNVD3 slidify and always the same message on my R console.

N.B: My OS is windows 7

It seems to be a problem with the way you are connected to the internet. Are you behind any firewalls? Do you have admin access to the system you are trying to install from. This is NOT an rCharts issue, since you dont seem to be able to install any package from github. Try posting on the devtools github issues page to see if someone can help you with this.

One of the gallery links, "Top 50 DVD Rentals" is broken, it should be: http://rcharts.github.io/viewer/?5735146 (my mistake, I had published several of the same).

It's no hurry, and if you want I can help you to maintain the spreadsheet until there's a better solution in place.

I fixed it. Can you add syntax highlighting to the code, so that it is easier to read? Also, can you DM me your gmail address on twitter, so that I can give you write access to the spreadsheet that controls the gallery?
