Some possible features to the UI:

• [x] Source code link to the raw version of code.R (if it exists)
• [x] Share links (e.g. twitter, facebook). Could use AddThis buttons for this.

The link to the gist is there at the bottom. Do you think, it would be useful to directly link to the raw code file instead?

I am not sure about the source code link, if it is necessary. I just realized when I wanted to copy some code to run, that I needed to click further down into the gist. Perhaps one could later add a javascript feature to easier copy the raw code from the viewer. Otherwise I was thinking about something like this:

The other option is not to embed the code in the html file, and instead use gist embed feature. See screenshot below (the code appears twice, since I have not removed it from the html). The advantage of this approach is that we dont need to do any extra work in terms of displaying links to the raw code.

I like/prefer the embedded version. I don't have any better suggestions myself.
