I was surveying the possibility of testing the Beam-To-Column Element implemented in OpenSees, see [1]. My feeling is that, there is not the possibility of having the element (as is) in the current version of Gid+OS. Neverthless, since the element is (roughly) an assembling of "ZeroL Length" springs, the implementation can be carried out following the specifications provided in [2]. In this light, i was trying to import the .tcl provided (as an example) in [3], but it fails. The problem was already discussed in #120 (now closed).
Summarizing:
(i) Is there any chance to develp the element in Gid+OS, in the future?
(ii) Could you please test the import operation. I Attach to this message the .tcls which were used in my trials.
