Zero lenght element and Rigid links to connect two Prefabricated Modules #86

Hello everyone!

I am Modelling a prefabricated Modular building. In this, i model the modules as aluminium boxes. So, for that I created 8 points and joined them with surface elements to form a box. Before modelling the whole building, i just modeled one box ( one Module) and it was running perfectly during eigen value analysis. Only reason as to why it took some time to run properly was meshing. i did mesh the surface properly and collapsed the mesh, then it ran perfect.

But when i wanted to extend the modelling, i added another box (Module) next to the existing one in the same level. to represent the connection between the boxes, i added a zero length element connected using two rigid links coming from the corner of the boxes ( Rigid links were assigned to create a gap between the boxes). AFter this, when i tried to run eigen value analysis, the model did not run properly. And, sometimes, after meshing, if do the collapse mesh option, that delete some nodes of zero length element. I feel like its more of an error to be dealt with meshing. Could you please kindly help me with this? is it not okay to collapse the mesh when there are zero length elements? image

I have also uploaded the model here for your reference
