i will try win11 22. i came from a win10 with some buggy regisitry entries from adobe software. which produce some bugs in phtoshop. but that's another topic.

so i want to make a clean install of win11 22. than ms will automatic activate "smart app control". Source: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/what-is-smart-app-control-285ea03d-fa88-4d56-882e-6698afdb7003

i believe, but i'm not sure! that software like msedge redirect or win10privacy would be blocked. yes it's possible to deactivate "SAC" but than you have to do it first, before you install all other software or any user specific configurations.

so do you have any information or did some test, how MSEdgeRedirect works with an non deactivated Smart App control?

I make a self test. After fresh install, at the evaluation mode MSEdgeredirect was able to install.

After I activate of SAC, the msedgeredirect installer is directly blocked!

So the users have to stay in disabled to go safe to determined edge with every update
