Error when attempting to open PDFs in Edge

Steps to reproduce

I quite like the Microsoft edge PDF viewer and currently have my default PDF viewer set to Edge:

✔️ Expected Behavior

I assumed because the additional redirect "PDF" was disabled I would still be able to open them in Edge:

This is not the case however.

❌ Actual Behavior

Instead I am presented with this error:

(clicking OK just closes the popup and as far as I can tell nothing happens)
