100% not surprised. Will likely NOT be fixed until US Tax Season. I'll probably need it for WhyNotWin12 as well.

Any chance this can be accelerated?

Looking at prices for the extended validation certificate needed, it looks like the cheapest for a single year is SSL.com's EV code signing certificate at $349. The certs are cheaper if you buy multiple years at once

Microsoft has a page of recommended providers (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/dashboard/code-signing-cert-manage#get-or-renew-a-code-signing-certificate) linked for their page on getting setup with Smart App Control (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/apps/develop/smart-app-control/code-signing-for-smart-app-control).

I haven't bought one yet because I don't have $349+ dollars to spare most of the time but it's definitely being bought next tax season because Windows 11 Smart App Control completely blocks the app unlike Windows 10

Sorry for the delay, been swamped. I was going to throw in 50 but had a question. Maybe a silly question. Do you know if either of those can give me a tax receipt? My company does donation matching, but not in all situations. If it gives a tax receipt, great starting point, if not, oh well.

Also if you have a preference for either of those two let me know.
