Usage of repo instead of oe-layersetup script #1

Hi All,

Is there any specific reason to use oe-layerseup script. I see that major task it does it does is that read the config file, fetch the sources and checkout appropriate revision. Why can't we make it as part of a manifest and use repo to clone it?

@vj-kumar sorry, this is just a local mirror. I use it to monitor ti.com's changes so i can port them over to our debian distro.
