Something Went Wrong #7

I have followed the directions up to step 12 in setting up the smartthings app. Whenever I enter the URL along with the client ID, client secret, and the code from step 10/11; I get a "Something Went Wrong" webpage instead of the json text that I need for the access token. What am I doing wrong or has smartthings changed something again? Please help.

There are many smartthings forum entries regarding the error 500 when getting the openauth token.

I had the same problem today. After some research, what fixed it for me was to generate the token from a Windows 7 system, instead of my main system running Windows 10. Reference URL > https://community.smartthings.com/t/issue-getting-token-in-web-services-tutorial/41700/6
