Others emulators works with the same HDD

Loading app from HDD OK , but 'Error opening directory "usb:/wii64/roms"' when
USB is selected in Load Game

Directories are on the disk. And many roms (but with space in their names) in
roms dir

Same issue here. Both this app and Atari 7800 emulator give same error when
launching. 'Error opening directory "usb:/wii64/roms"'. Partition is Fat32, set
primary and active. All other emulators, apps, wbfs images working flawlessly.

Same here. Wii64 and WiiSX are looking for USB but wii xplorer says that the
USB is USB1. Not sure how to fix this. Someone help! Running out of space on SD
card!

Another occurence here. Everything else works just fine. Wii64 just has
problems loading from USB.

Try this Wii64 1.1 USB 2.0 support mod I found. *BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD* If you
find issues with this, don't post them on here, because it's an unofficial mod.
This fixed the problem for me, but use this until the next official update.

I've tried everything. It just don't load. A lot of usbs's now adays have there
own directory. I think the emulator is confused and only know to open the root
"usb://" instead of something like "Kingston://wii64/roms" (my root is Kingston
and SNES 9X GX and VBA GX load roms just fine) HBC recognises any drive and all
my wiiware, soft ware, hardware, wii, computer, and external drives are upt
date. with any and all types of "ware" (Soft, hard, firm, IOS, OS, BIOS, Wii,
ROM, Rom, and languages).

I am also having the 'Error opening directory "usb:/wii64/roms" issue using HBC
1.0.8 using IOS58. I tried the Wii64 USB2.0 support mod posted by SonicXxRush,
but it doesn´t work for me. SD cards works fine but they are very soon short
of storage.

Any updates on that issue? Thanks.

The drive shows up as usb1 in WiiXplorer and the error is Error opening
directory "usb:/wii64/roms", so I am guessing that is the root of the problem.
As other users have reported, the usb drive (FAT32, single partition) works
fine with other applications (including Configurable USB Loader, fceultra,
snes9x, etc...)

You, my friend, simply need to use this unofficial mod of Wii64 1.1 Beta with
fixed USB support. Here you go fella.
