Make the display's graphics more usable

As a normal user, I want to

Look at graphical UI elements

(Such as a nice speedometer dial, like a car or a motorbike has), in order to

Have a pleasant experience and confidence in the UI

I wanted:

Even simpler displays have better UI usability, mainly by

• being simpler (no need to figure out which screen page I'm on)
• using idiosyncratic styling for each display element (so that everything doesn't look the same)

And those displays are 1/3 the price of 860C, 1/20 the price of a decent Android phone.

• Use units (W, °C, km, mi) as visual anchors
• Use different precision to at-a-glance make different readouts different shape <-- already done
• use icons / pictograms / symbols / emojis
• colour-code e.g. temperature, speed, RPM, current
• inverted white-on-black labels (SW900)
• use more readable font(?)
• digits after decimal half height (VLCD5 current speed)
• draw actual circular dial display like a motorbike or a car has (stock 860C)
• have a UX designer to do this

People who don't like this can opt for the ANT+ controller and get a Garmin (or go without), but if we aim the display to be usable, this is a must.

Icons like these

• colour coding info/warning/error = green/amber/red
• standardised pictures
• but not universally understood & somewhat cryptic: need text labels
• line drawing — low flash & memory footprint
