Describe alternatives you've considered Kick.com uses twitch as base so maybe this can be forked or added to the miner

maybe this can be done easy because its 99.9% the same platform

thanks

I checked a dozen of channels there and none of them have channel points and options to redeem them.

Could you give some examples of channels with points?

bttfw commented 1 year ago

Yeah its a new platform it will be added in steps the next few weeks I just wanted to throw it in so it could be monitored

rdavydov commented 1 year ago

I see. Let's keep this open for a couple of weeks. Post here any updates.

Currently Twitch's API is GQL and this site's is Rest. It is not easy to convert, you would have to rewrite everything from scratch, the logic of this site is different and the biggest problem of all, they are using Cloudflare, which makes any request outside the browser impossible.

Are they not using the twitch dev platform?

All errors go directly to twitch and even show the twitch logo that's why I thought it's basically twitch

One of my main reasons for running this script moved from twitch to kick, so... if anyone stumbles upon either a way to make this work on kick (which I don't really expect after reading 6accOnThe6locc's comment) or something similar for kick, that would be great.

Fun fact, it's not easy searching for this cause "idle kick" etc is something very different -_-

There is a Kick-bot called "BotRix" that allows users in channels to collect points. Example users are "absolutelyfilthyb*st*rds" and "vv*nity"
