I have an offline environment with openmpi1.10. So I can only get the .otf file not the .otf2 . How can I get the older version of casita to process the otf file?

Support for .otf has been removed long time ago, since VampirTrace has been discontinued in 2013. The successor of VampirTrace is Score-P (score-p.org).
