What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing the extension
2. Scroll in any file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Scrolling should follow displayed text on screen.
What I see like if the normal scroll bar is still present but hidden under the
ProgressiveScroll. When scrolling, the zone displayed is where the normal
scroll bar cursor is present instead.

See attached image.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7, x64. Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate. Extensions presents:
VSCommands11, Visual Assist X, Resharper and Color Theme Editor. Tried
displaying all of them, issue still present.

Please provide any additional information below.
If you require any other info, I'll try to provide it. Really love this
extension by the way. Great job!

Also, from what I can see, if you double click to highlight a word, I don't see
the corresponding mark (light square) on the scroll bar as I used to.

I have tested in VS2010 and it works fine. Seems to be an issue with VS2012
itself.

I have the same trouble. But I've faced it few days ago. Till that moment
everything was okay. On another machine works fine. We both use vs2012.
Something tells me the problem is with another extensions (visualAssistX)

I did try disabling every extension I possibly could and run only
ProgressiveScroll. It still didn't work.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem now?

What I did is stopped using this plugin. Instead I installed Productivity
Power Tools from Microsoft that also contains a very similar scrollbar to
progressive scroll. You should check it out.
