What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Benchmarking interrupt-driven code vs present code

This could show:
- Interrupts are faster?

To work on this:
- write simple code to test basic interrupt functionality
- brainstorm how to incorporate it into our code
- follow through
- benchmark results to determine adoption
