Improve MCS mysql exception handling #30

Several MCS queries are not guarded from exceptions. This may cause the the
MCS daemon to shutdown if the database is updates in a way that does not
correspond to the MCS view of the data model.

Even if shutting down is the right thing to do, a proper log entry
containing both the query and error message should be created.
