wvdial will not start with strange error #35

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run wvdial
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Stable connection with CONNECT state.

The output/error is as follows: 

bash-4.2# wvdial

--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATH
ATH

--> Sending: ATE1
ATE1
OK
--> Sending: AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.61, Slackware64 current (after 13.37)

Please provide any additional information below.

Well... It used to work under Slackware13.1, under kppp the modem work anyway.
