2 Errors at: Generating PDF via Export in the View "ERC DMP Template"

We installed: https://github.com/rdmorganiser/rdmo-catalog/blob/master-rdmo2.x/shared/ub_fau_erlangen_nuernberg/erc-grants/ERC_views.xml

Where does the error appear: Select the catalogue "European Research Council (ERC)" for a project and click on the view "ERC DMP Template". Than choose "PDF" under "Export"

Type/Reason of Error: There are 2 Errors:

Error 1: The ERC Log (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/de/2/21/ERC_Logo.PNG) in the view causes

  Jpeg Invalid marker used
  PNG Invalid PNG file, signature broken
  Bitmap Invalid Bitmap magic identifier
  GIF Invalid Gif signature : <!DOCT
  HDR Invalid radiance file signature
  Tiff Invalid endian tag value
  TGA not enough bytes
Error producing PDF.
! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in ./tex2pdf.-....shtml (no BoundingBox).

Error 2: If the 2 questions regarding costs are not answered (i.e. no values in costs part [{% render_value 'project/costs' %}] and [% render_value 'project/costs/preservation/cover_how' %}], the line breaks causes an error in LaTeX:

Pandoc died with exitcode "43" during conversion: Error producing PDF.
! LaTeX Error: There's no line here to end.
