That would be great to have the author citations of taxa being displayed (including use of italics, parentheses for recombinations, ect...). E.g. in Q2652916 instead of currently:

• Ophiophyllum nesisi (Q2652916)

Something great would be:

• Ophiophyllum nesisi Martynov & Litvinova, 2008 (Q2652916)

I guess this is somewat possible to retrieve that kind of thing from Wikidata as the Module:Taxobox seems to do it quite well, including for zoology or botany, for recombinations, ect...,

This looks like a bit of a nightmare, I understand the desirability, but it feels like a lot of work for a relatively small gain.

Ok, understood (a nightmare: yes it looks like..). But even if unformated maybe it can be usefull to show the (list of) author(s) and the year somewhere.
