7 months ago Very similar issue happening with a flow variable.
Same behaviour after adding a couple of flow variables to be set up with local timestamp information once the node is triggered:
- the node is accepted and properly deployed;
- at the first scheduled occurrence (once per day) it returns: 'internal error'
- opening the node to check the initially set flow variables are not shown / retained
System information:
- Node-Red version: 3.1.7
- Node.js version: 20.11.1
- node-red-contrib-sun-position version: 2.2.0-beta3
Using the Time Inject Enhanced node - runs perfectly for just sending message payload
If i add another option to inject - this time global.variable (full variable name and path added) the system accepts the input - however does not prompt me to redeploy when i save the changes - i have to reopen the node (and the global.variable is blank), refill the global variable and then change something else in the node, then save and then i am prompted to redeploy - i do a full deploy of the workspace not just changed nodes
I can then go back in and the global variable is again blank - when i left it overnight wanting to see what would happen - this morning when it went to run it show Internal Error in Red under the node in the editor
Expected behavior I expect the system to remember the global variable name i am trying to set and to inject it at the designated time
