what fps capture? what OS? Are you encoding while you capture?

I'm using the command line that's shown on the web page, encoding to FLV. I don't know what FPS I'm using, I guess the default.

shown on which web page? (anyway my hunch/guess would be that encoding to FLV is cpu expensive, but that's just a hunch)...
