Better selection of vectors? #2

As I understand it, currently an use must first select a point layer, the open the plugin then select a polygon layer, then run the analysis. It seems more obvious, and more coherent with most other plugins, to show a dropdown of the points and one of the polygons loaded on the canvas.

While I agree with you (now) from UI-standpoint, this plugin started of as a very light plugin with almost no gui (just generate a grid of points for a layer or selection).

At that time it seemed appropriate to just do it the way you do now:

select a layer with given work plots or lines (and optionally(!) select one or more features in it)
open dialog

I think I'll wait for more input or use of the plugin to make it more general usable.
