Version 9 - text size weirdness #34

seems like text sizes are different than they were. The text used to fill the box, now it seems like there is a gap at the bottom.

just noticed that the user can now select font size - very cool.

But what do we do in the template? set a size? if we don't set a size, what is the default size? does it have anything to do with the text box height?

The ‘styledtext’ has had some mods since the version you are working on and will have still more. The behavior today anticipates the font size to use but we have found it to pick a size that is consistently smaller than we would like. The future intent is to have it scale to the height of the box (as it does with v8). The ‘size’ attribute will have no effect in v9. Until then, it will be a trade off as to whether the other benefits of styled text outweigh the default text size being small. Since you can turn styled text off at the product level, you might be able to fine tune for products and mix the old behavior with the new?
