not sure about this, but I had a template where 2 nodes has ID = 1 - but the UIDs were unique. One of the nodes was a static text node that said "Interview with Sports Legend" and then now below was another node that links their name from the data field. I think the main image and the static "Interview with.." nodes both had ID=1 - and in the review mode and the rendered file the static text node was getting the filename instead of the static text. I changed the IDs and now it works properly.
