thank you for the feedback. We discussed the issue both, in WP-3&4 telcos and I got feedback from the WP-3/4 leaders. No objections to freezing the spec of the resource path structure were brought to the project's attention.

I hence close this issue and declare the specification of the resource path frozen. All further updates will need to maintain 100% backward compatibility.
