The frontend developer will work on the development of web applications with React, taking part in the agile ceremonies and utilizing modern methodologies and tools aimed at delivering value to our clients and partners that are implementing strategic e-commerce solutions for the markets they are part of.

We have an agile structure and culture particularly collaborative, which are requirements for the level of challenge and complexity that our demands have. By being inserted into a multidisciplinary team, this person is going to have the necessary support in form of:

• a business team with a Product Owner interfacing with the client
• an agility team with a Scrum Master facilitating processes and culture of the company and cell
• a squad leader for support in day-to-day demands

Within the team, we also have shared experts for support in definitions and technical solution designs, breaking the complexity of the demands and leveraging the evolution of the team.

We use versioning and code control tools with automated testing, CI/CD processes, modern practices and patterns, like SOLID, Clean Code, and strongly typed languages, like TypeScript. Since we’re inserted in a web e-commerce scenario, nowadays our stack is strongly focused around JavaScript and technologies available in that ecosystem. Furthermore, we are now working with projects that follow modern market trends, like implementations with headless platforms with static site generation, which brings great gains in terms of performance and flexibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and provide support for other developers on components, scripts, automated tests, and other code for web apps;
• Fix bugs and peer-review code;
• Analyze demands and backlog in order to estimate effort, complexity, and possible impediments for their execution;
• Analyze code in order to find flaws, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities in performance or code architecture;
• Take part in the design and documentation of solutions and architectures in order to solve problems in projects;
• Be a member in agile management with Scrum or other frameworks, taking part in ceremonies of refinement, planning, review, and retrospective of the executed work;
• Collaborate and provide interface for internal and external stakeholders, like experts, consultants, clients, partners, and other agencies in order to exchange critical information for the execution of demands;
• Contribute to the evolution of the team with feedbacks, analysis, and work on initiatives, creating, implementing, and improving processes, standards, and work and development methodologies;

Requisitos

Obrigatórios:

• React – Development of web applications (at least 3 years) with logic over the state container, with React Hooks or Redux;
• JavaScript – Use of the language with ES6 version and its main features;
• GraphQL – Creation of queries and mutations and implementation of components for consuming this kind of service;
• RESTful APIs – Implementation of components for consuming this kind of service;
• CSS – Styling of components with preprocessors such as Less and Sass, and structuring of responsive layouts with Flexbox and Grid;
• Git – Fundamentals and basic operation via CLI with Git Flow;
• Automated Testing – Development of unit and integration tests with modern frameworks;
• Patterns – Code development with Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID, DDD, or others;
• Agile – Experience working with teams that use agile methodologies;

• e-Commerce – Fundamentals and architecture of platforms, such as VTEX or Commerce Tools;
• SSG – Development of web applications with Gatsby or Next.js;
• Cloud – Fundamentals of cloud architecture;
• DevOps – Culture and fundamentals of pipeline scripts;
• Microservices – Fundamentals of microservices architecture and containers with Kubernetes and Docker;
