- New collaborators require the
package-lock.jsonoryarn.lockfile to run the project. Since we are using npm all over the codebase. we need a package-lock.json file. - If you look into the code of React-native-elements repo, there is a yarn-lock file, and package-lock file in gitignore.
- It is followed so to either use npm or yarn but not both.
- Also command line is too saying.:
-also netlify build is saying the same thing
Agreed? @pranshuchittora, please resolve this by merging my PR below.
The package-lock.json file needs to be committed to your Git repository, so it can be fetched by other people, if the project is public or you have collaborators, or if you use Git as a source for deployments.
