Hello and thanks for asking, v11 is intended to work with Expo SDK 50. If you're on 49, use v10. I updated the release notes to make it clearer. Thank you 🙂
struggling with the same issue with v13 for sponsors. If I'm using expo sdk 49, should I use v12 of your google signin?
Thank you for the help :)
@TianMeh yes, use https://github.com/react-native-google-signin/google-signin-next/releases/tag/v12.2.1
Thank you, will do that :)
Probably not the best place to say this but still, amazing stuff you're doing!
thank you, very happy to hear that! 🙂
v11.0.0 Requires Minimum iOS Deployment Target of 13.4
I use Expo with React Native, and I run
expo run:[ios|android]
to build my project.I want to note that the issue does not occur with @react-native-google-signin/google-signin v10.0.1, which I am currently using.
However, to use the newer version, I need a minimum iOS deployment target of 13.4, while the standard deployment target in Expo-generated builds with Podfile is 13.0.
As far as I know, there is no way to set the minimum iOS version in Expo, except by manually adjusting the Podfile and repeating this step with every prebuild.
Is there a fix for this inconsistency?
