It takes forever to install the generator-react-webpack on Mac OS #258

I'm using Mac OS X, when I npm install -g generator-react-webpack, it takes forever to install and will affect my entire network traffic in my mac. When I install sub package one by one, I didn't encounter the problem. Anyone knows what happens?

It takes me in total 20 min to install the pack with a good network traffic.
