This is fueled by my hatred for circleci and embedding any syntax inside another syntax. It defeats linting and autoformatting tools, both of which I find highly valuable. This approach touches circleci in the tiniest way possible. I submit this PR knowing full well others might not like this approach so feel free to close without comment.
