Slicing tool needs to detect failures #37

If the Java piece of the slicingTool fails, the wrapper script may not detect it and get stuck waiting forever for success which will never come. The script needs to detect a crashed slicing tool so that it can shut down, rather then wait forever.

Also, now that slicingTool has its own repository (https://github.com/reactome/slicingTool) maybe the fix should be applied there.
