Query through identifier does not show hierarchy #1

Hi Reactome,

I'm wondering if the identifier function gives back the hierarchy of pathways results, for example, "cell junction organization" is under the category of "Cell-cell communication".

Thanks! Fred

Hi Fred,

In the AnalysisTools we provide the statistic results at the level of pathways but we do not provide the pathways hierarchy here. In order to get it please use our RESTful service more specifically the pathwayHierarchy method for "homo sapiens".

There is also another way to get the hierarchy by combining two of the files in our dowload page, more specifically the ones in the Pathway Information section: (1) the Complete list of pathways and (2) the Pathway hierarchy relationship.

Thank you for your interest in Reactome.

Hello!

I would like to obtain the top-level REACTOME ID for all pathways. I have downloaded the Pathway Hierarchy Relationship file, but it seems to only pair the immediate parent with each child pathway. Is there a way to download a file that has the top-level REACTOME IDs in one column and all their children in the next column?

Thank you, Jenny
