Fit LED strips to light up the vending machine

The LED strips where orange and not very bright. I have some white ones that are surplus to requirement that I can bring in.

Strip has now been fitted just needs some power

I added a power supply in the cabinet. Since then I wondered if it should only light up when the machine is prepping for dispense, that would need some sort of switch circuit connected to the logic controller.

That makes sense. IIRC there where some DC to DC converters in the vending machine if these have an enable pin then this can be used to easily switch the output on/off.
