Would want to display values for the following when in Edit mode
Edit As Visibility Attribution
As discussed, one option is to display these values immediately underneath the name of the logged in user and another is at the bottom of the Edit Panel. We might perhaps only display the value for Edit As if it differs from the logged in user.
Actually under the edit box is where we landed when discussing with Andrew, placing it just around the "Edit" title. This would be the most visually contextual location.

Indeed, makes sense.
first run implemented, needs review and testing.
Had a look but not quite what we had discussed. Plan was to only display when one goes into modify mode. Also we were only going to display value for EditAs if it was different from logged in user. Also we were going to display value for Attribute with.
The biggest issue that we have is screen real-estate. I had the attribution there and it wasn't visible or distinguishable. There is a lot of text to display in a small area. Also showed this to Andrea and she suggested that it made more sense to place this by the username. Showing verse not showing with EditAs based on the comparison can be visually confusing. Perhaps we should draw this out on PPT to see the various design options.

Prefer we only display theses values in Modify mode. No need to see this unless one is in modify mode.
We canvassed both options (display under user and display in Edit pane) in design synch with Andrew and landed on using the edit pane. Lets stick with this. Having said that, I like the idea of displaying the EditAs value next to User (if it differs from User and we are in Modify mode}. Will only rarely be displayed. This way we can use the area in Edit pane for Vis and Attrib values.
As discussed:
Prefer that we don't display these display theses values in View mode but perhaps we can canvass feedback on this after implementing as above.
I would like to share my opinion on this topic, even though I was already mentioned by Steve. My preference would be to have the editAs and the Vis/Attrib values visible all the time immediately underneath the name of the logged in user. I think it is preferable to have that kind of information in near proximity to where it can be changed. Also, in my opinion, it is better to have something stable vs. changing it depending on the mode activated etc.

I agree with Andrea.
My preferences for placement of the values and for not displaying them in View mode are not so strongly held that they should get in the way of getting a solution implemented.
Attribution is not being displayed. This is becoming an issue for us as, in our projects, the default of (Work in Progress) is inappropriate in almost all cases. Without display of the current setting we are finding that researchers are just not realizing they need to set this appropriately.
Tested OK
Would be helpful to display the current default user preferences (perhaps at the bottom of the navigation pane). Am finding that a good proportion of errors made (especially when working with multiple Edition texts) relate to neglecting to adjust default values before modifications. Visibility defaults to the Owner rather that Users...
