From what I have read about this, Microsoft has been testing a “compact” view for Bing periodically in the past year or two, but it is not widespread.
However, your best bet is actually to switch to DuckDuckGo, which is essentially a Bing wrapper, and allows you to customize how the results appear in its settings menu. It lets you turn off ads, shorten or lengthen the length of the snippets, and remove AI.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Unfortunately, DDG is blocked by the government where I live :(.
There is a Firefox extension for blocking clutter on Bing: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/remove-bing-clutter/
But it does not seem to work for Chrome.
I end up using Bing because I am banned on Google. Like, not entirely banned, but I have to pass two captchas on every request, which is a PITA.
Is there a way to remove trash from the Bing Search page? Like "people also ask", "talk to copilot", et cetera.
