Plugin creates a new, empty folder for each note when base folder is set to "/"

I have my base folder set to / so that my notes will just go right into my default workspace. This function works, but it also creates an empty folder with that same name.

Is there a different value I should be setting my base folder for readwise notes, or is this a bug?

Does the issue persist if you just leave the field blank instead of "/"?

I believe that leaving it blank defaults to putting it in a folder called "Readwise"

I would love to get this fixed, as Im having the same issue. I want to add all my Readwise highlights to the root of my Obsidian vault. The highlights themselves are synced to the correct path, but it also creates empty folders at root with the same names as the notes
